The Rhythm & Run 5K is an annual fundraiser event for the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame & Museum, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All proceeds from the Rhythm & Run 5K go to the NC Music Hall of Fame Museum.
The primary purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize, promote and commemorate the musical heritage of the State of North Carolina. Musicians, singers, songwriters, music executives, and producers from all genres of music are honored in its Hall.
THIS EVENT IS PART OF THE 2016 CAROLINAS HEALTHCARE SYSTEM’S EMPLOYEE RACE PROGRAM.
Rhythm & Run 5K
- Early Registration $20 (until March 26)
- Registration $25 (March 27 – May 13)
- Race Day $30 (May 14)
Kids “Half Note” Fun Run
- $5.00 each
- Timing: fun run will not be timed
- Suggested ages: 12 & under
T-Shirts:
Tech shirts in men and women’s cuts will be guaranteed to those who pre-register before May 1st. Shirts and sizes will be available on race day while supplies last.

Awards:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female finishers will receive AWARDS and CASH PRIZES!!:
- 1st Place Overall = $100 CASH + Hall of Fame award
- 2nd Place Overall = $50 CASH + Hall of Fame award
- 3nd Place Overall = $25 CASH + Hall of Fame award
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in each age division will receive MEDALS!
