A Challenging Course
Our team works hard to ensure our 5K race course meets racing standards and is fun but challenging for new and experienced runners alike
How it all came to be…
About The Race:
The Rhythm & Run 5K is an annual fundraiser event for the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame & Museum– a 501c (3) non-profit organization. All proceeds from the Rhythm & Run 5K go to the NC Music Hall of Fame.
The primary purpose of the organization is to recognize, promote and commemorate the musical heritage of the State of North Carolina. Musicians, singers, songwriters, music executives, and producers from all genres of music are honored.
Race History:
The inaugural Rhythm & Run 5K took place June 2012 and brought over 200 runners to support the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame (NCMHOF). We have put great effort towards creating an event that will provide runners with a great quality race. We appreciate those who help us to build our event into a great race that everyone enjoys and a successful fundraiser for the NC Music Hall of Fame.
Let us introduce ourselves
About NCMHOF:
The North Carolina Music Hall of Fame Museum is located at 600 Dale Earnhardt Blvd. Kannapolis, NC 28081. The Hall of Fame exhibits memorabilia from those who have been inducted into its Hall of Fame.
The individuals or bands inducted into the Hall of Fame are from all types of genres and all areas of the professional music industry including singers, songwriters, music producers, musicians and music industry executives who have roots in North Carolina.
Exhibits tell the musical career of each inductee with the display of their wardrobe pieces, signed albums, award albums, accessories, and more. Inductions at the Hall of Fame are held annually with a celebration event to recognize and honor these legends who have created N.C.’s rich musical heritage.
