North Carolina Music Hall of Fame Announces Major Sponsors for 2011 Induction Ceremony

Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury and Hanes Brands of Winston-Salem have become the first major corporate sponsors of the NC Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The other sponsors, to date, include the City of Kannapolis, Castle Cook Realty, First Community Bank, Curb Family Foundation, Curb Records and the Holiday Inn Express – Concord.
This year’s induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 13th at the David H. Murdock Core Lab Building in Kannapolis.
This year’s inductees include Country/Rock-a-Billy legend, Billy “Crash” Craddock of Greensboro, Grammy award winning tenor Anthony Dean Griffey of High Point, Kinston native Maceo Parker, a Jazz/Funk sax player who was James Brown’s sideman, Singer/Songwriter Ben Folds from Winston-Salem who is also a judge on NBC’s “Sing Off,” and contemporary Christian recording artist Michael English of Wallace, songwriter/playwright / author Billy Edd Wheeler from Swannanoa, songwriter, John D. Loudermilk of Durham, and the late Blue Grass, singer/songwriter/musician Clyde Moody.
